Where do I start? Well we shall go back to the beginning of time where the dinosaurs roamed the earth and Shooters were still clunky and low frames. Ahhhh the good old days; my gaming career started on the N94 when I was 5 Years old in 1999. I didn’t know what I was doing but I was still having fun playing it at my friends house. We would stay up all night playing and then eventually I was given an XBOX the classic holy grail of console. The controller was too big for my childish hands so I had to adopt a newer style of playing called “Claw”. Halo 2 was my game, and if i must admit I peaked in that game I was so good in it compared how I play in games now… Well we all have to move on at some point right?! Well instead of me pursuing a professional player career in esports I instead wanted to help the players who were good enough to play that didn’t have the chances they should have had. So thus Orion eSports was born; where we are trying to give opportunities to well deserving players, streamers, and content creators.
Speaking of CONTENT did I mention that I am a streamer and I was a streamer before I was a *cough* HEAD OF INDUSTRY *cough*? Well I was and I still am! Well hello there people welcome to the Stream, sorry I get confused on when I’m steaming and when I’m not FeelsBad. Streaming is my hobby now as that eSports has consumed my life and try to stream every chance I get. I may not be the best but well that’s not why the people come around. It’s more or less to come and see me die and make fun of me. So next time you are bored and I’m streaming you should come and try it out!
My name is Michael “Krypler” Curran. Before finding a home with Brawlhalla as an aspiring competitive player and tournament organizer, I organized tournaments and competed in games like Smash Bros Melee and The Darwin Project. I also like to do speed-runs of platformers like Celeste and Cuphead when I’m not playing Brawlhalla!
Yo, I’m Jenkai. I am from the forgot spot in the Caribbean called Saint Lucia and I am the recruiter and assistant manager of this organization. I play Brawlhalla on a daily trying to get better and hopefully join this organization once more as an esports player. I hope to soon become a better artist and support my team with my skills too. I love watching anime, playing Brawlhalla, hanging with the boys and all in all just having fun. I aim to be number 1 at everything and hopefully I can, it can only go up from here.
My name’s EpicBlossom. I am the General Manager here at Orion eSports. I am the one who makes the website look so good, the discord organized, influences social media, marketing, and sponsorship hunter! You can say I do it all around here, but these guys are here helping a lot of people and kids trying to succeed at their dreams so I’m glad to help…. They better pay me soon though; or I’m going on STRIKE! XD.
Orion has grown a lot since I first saw it when I came into Nerd’s Stream (Oops I mean Nerfed! Sorry! Not Really.). I have helped organize a lot, we still have a bunch of work to do. This will always be changing the issues and challenges we need to face during the expansion of Orion.
I am still new to eSports but I am having a lot of fun and I hope to learn a lot more over the months and years with everyone!
Played WoW for about 6 years before getting into FPS games, made it to 3k in 3’s. I’ve played OW sinse release – started w/ and mained Genji, and transitioned to flexing to healer with Ana.
How did I get into COD? I had all the PlayStations that we’re offered to be bought and I played them to no end whenever I could.
Then the first call of duty came out on PS2 and fell in love since then.
I didn’t start playing seriously until black ops 2 when they introduced league play. Ever since then I have played all the call of duty’s that came out after that.
Hey ‘der ladies and gents! My name’s Jake aka Dorsch and im from the great state of Wisconsin! Besides playing games I enjoy bow hunting and gettin dem big bucks, workin out, gettin swole, playin with my two kitties Squirtle and Yuki, and annoying my fiancé.(Sorrry Ladies)
I started gaming when I was a wee lad, played mainly Diablo 2 until I made some friends in middle school who introduced me to Counter Strike. I was mega bad back then, still am.. XD I ventured away from the fps genre for quite a while as I found a love for MMORPG’s like WoW, FFXI, Aion, and Lineage 2. Around the time that Counter Strike Global Offensive came out is when I decided I should probably actually try to be good and that carried through to PUBG.(probably the greatest game in the world) If you catch me in game I’m most likely wearing a turtleneck, beard, and a skirt
I’m the grandpa of the group as far gaming goes. I’m pushing the big 4-0 and grew up in the “Nintendo Hard” days. The days before the internet, where you needed a copy of Nintendo Power to get tips on how to beat bosses, or GamePro for the list of Mortal Kombat fatalities. The days when if a game was published by EA meant it was going to be great (RIP). My PC gaming life started with titles such as Wolfenstein 3D, Simcity, Doom, Quake and Descent. I also had a multi-monitor setup before it “was cool” to play Microsoft Flight sim. It wasn’t until Unreal Tournament that I got the Sniper nickname. I racked up 2000 kills with the sniper rifle in one sitting on the Facing Worlds map.The Sniper moniker would follow me through my teenage years though other games such as CS (1.2/1.6; I skipped the Source years), Battlefield 1942, 2, and 3, and eventually off the screen into paintball and firearm marksmanship.
I still love gaming. I played Counter-Strike when it was a Half-Life mod, and it’s the game, even after a triple A title comes out, that I still go back to. I got hooked on the pro scene a couple of years ago. I don’t really have a favorite team, I just love watching well-played CS. Having ditched cable TV back in 2012, I found myself watching twitch for background noise, and with that, lots of counter-strike. In January 2018 I was able to go to the E-League Major in Boston. It was an amazing experience, I felt like a teenager again and met some really cool people, I connected with Nerfed shortly after that in a Discord of people that were at the major.
I checked out his Twitch stream and was taken in by his passion for gaming and chill personality. I believe in his dream to run a successful professional gaming organization, and I help out whenever I can.
If I’m not in Nerfed’s Twitch chat you’ll find me touring the other Orion streamers. When I need a break from gaming I’m in my workshop tinkering, I’m an arcade game buff and I want to build a couple cabinets so at the moment i’m honing that skillset with smaller woodworking projects, and yes, the Orion streamers keep me company in the workshop as well.
Hello, My name is Nick or Flipside_Flow. Some of my favorite games to stream including but are not limited to Rocket League, Skyrim, MTG Arena, and Hunt: Showdown. The reason I enjoy streaming is because it gives me a chance to meet new friends and act a little quirky.
If you where to ask where my career in gaming started. I would have to say I started gaming on the Playstation playing games like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Megaman. From there it was the Playstation 2, The Xbox 360, then eventually my computer, followed by my Xbox One and Playstation 4. I love to play story mode games like Kingdom Hearts, Dishonored and Horizon Zero Dawn.
